Affiliate Link Policy

Affiliate links are specially-coded referral links to merchants. When you make a purchase via an affiliate link, I earn a small commission from the merchant at no cost to you.

Affiliate commissions go toward paying the costs of maintaining this website: monthly hosting charges, software licenses, paid subscriptions, etc.

As of now, there are a couple affiliate links on the About page. My notebook and monthly letter do not contain affiliate links nor will they in the future.

(I might create a new section of the website for highlighting books & products I love, and I’d use affiliate links there. It’s still in the idea phase; stay tuned.)

I keep things simple on the back end by only working with two affiliate programs: Amazon.com and Bookshop.org. If you’re a regular user of these merchants, great — your purchases via my affiliate links will help support my work.

If you prefer to shop elsewhere, I not only respect that, I encourage you to use these links as research for purchasing from your own local businesses.
